Merlin Embedded offers the following drop-in replacements for obsolete products.  Our drop-in replacement products are designed to work with the customer's existing software and cabling.  We are constantly updating our product line.  If you do not see the product you are searching for on the list, feel free to contact us.  In many cases we can modify the firmware of an existing product to satisfy your needs.

Merlin embedded will never obsolete a product without having a drop-in replacement available for our customers.  We guarantee suppport on all of our products for 15 years.

MVME9424 Analog I/O

 Replaces Acromag® AVME9320/21.  Upgraded to 16 bit A/D with 4µsec conversion time.

MVME9433 Analog Output

 Replaces Acromag® AVME9210/15.  Upgraded to 16 bit D/A with differential or single-ended outputs capable of driving 50mA.

MVME 9850 Serial I/O

 Replaces Radstone MPCC-1 Serial I/O Module.  Upgraded to interface to RS422, RS485, or RS232.

MVME9470 Digital I/O

 Replaces Acromag® AVME9470.  Upgraded to provide 400mA output current sink.  Unit may also be configured as AVME9440. 

MVME9510 Multi-Function

 Replaces Acromag® AVME9510.  Upgrades included 400mA output current sink and 16 bit resolution on A/D and D/A.

MVME9460 Quadrature Encoder

Replaces SBS IP-ENCODER6.  Upgrades include 32 bit resolution, up to 8 channels, and optional optical isolation.
